I am a quirky, creative, girl boss with a witty sense of humour. I am passionate about helping people tell their stories.
I took the leap into full time entrepreneurship in November 2019, after my husband suffered a major health crisis. It was a difficult choice to leave my position as Manager of Development & Community Relations for a women's shelter because the work was meaningful & life changing for the women who needed us.
But I have always tried to live life fully, and after this sudden reminder about how fragile life is when my husband underwent heart surgery, I didn’t want to have any regrets. Once he was on the road to recovery, I knew it was time to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams.
And, here I am, loving every minute of it. Between Embrace Photography & my other business Say It with Stacey, I love the magic I get to create in both businesses every single day.
In addition to family & pet photography, I have a passion for helping other’s build their small businesses through my photography & marketing consulting services.

My academic credentials (I hold an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in marketing) & my 20 years of sales and marketing experiencing ranging from men’s hockey team to women’s shelter (it couldn’t be more apples to oranges) backed with a proven record of creative revenue generation ideas, have helped me and my clients find success.

I've discovered throughout the years, I prefer to serve these niche markets and therefore, I don’t do newborn or large weddings, however I am happy to provide referrals to other amazing camera artists who do.
