Each experienced photographer brings their own voice and vision to their chosen style of photography.

In photography, we find the same kind of pseudo-recoginition, as we do with famed work such as Picasso and van Gogh if I may (if you follow a couple photographers for a while and start to see their nuances).

It is how our unique vision of the world interacts with how our clients being presented in front of us, that starts to produce our own personal style. Sometimes the style differences among many photographers is subtle and at times barely discernible to the naked eye; but this is where client service can also be the difference from one photographer to the next. (ie: how much coaching for poses did you get during the shoot, how your kids/dogs/other family members felt comfortable etc.)

What to expect from a session with me:

  • A short consult before we begin to see if there are any 'must have' shots and a brief discussion if you prefer more candid photos, more 'looking at the camera' poses or combination of both; so I can deliver on exactly what you're looking for.
  • Continual coaching for poses throughout the entire process the minute we arrive on location/set for your photos
  • I am quickly able to read personalities, nerves etc and adapt my instruction to make everyone feel comfortable (just ask the families I have served :))
  • Fun! Easy! The feeling of I didn't want it to end!
  • Colourful, vibrant and authentic to you!

I am not a dark and moody person, and neither is my photography. I always provide digital images (I want you to be able to enjoy your photos in whatever way you choose — blow them up, share with family, make creative gifts (my other business can help you with that too*).

I want you to make memories. And I'd be honoured to help you with that.

Yours in light and art,
Stacey xo
