Have you heard my story on why I love to take women’s head shots?

A recent head shot client who is a sales rep for Lia Sophia.

After hearing countless remarks of “I don’t take a good picture” and fed up with women’s portrayals in the media, Stacey was inspired to have every female client realize that they were capable of taking an outstanding picture despite their weight, height and body type.

This passion has fueled her drive to become the leader in professional head shots in the Orangeville, Bolton, Shelburne, Alliston and surrounding communities.  What to consider when updating your head shot?

  • Do your homework.  Find a photographer that can mach your personality/industry to your photo.
  • Read testimonials from others.  What was it about the photographer that they appreciated?
  • Ask questions.  Make sure you know what you’re getting in the package you choose.
  • Remember this is an investment in yourself (and your brand).  People spend more time looking at photographs on your website than your text.

Do you need a new head shot?  I promise to make you look great!

Two session spots available for May 25 (in Orangeville). Secure your spot today.

FAMILY: where life begins and love never ends.

I always love it when families book a session and I find out that they haven’t updated their family portrait collection in awhile, and that they trusted Embrace Photography to capture these updated memories for them.  For this gang, it had been fifteen years – so they were way overdue.  It makes me happy to know that today’s smiles will hang on their walls, bringing them a lifetime of  joy when they look at these images as years go by.  Thank you to this gang for being so easy to work with {especially adolescent boys – who generally don’t love spending the afternoon getting their pictures taken – but these guys were great!}.  Enjoy the sneak peeks!

Client profile: Debbie VanWyck

Award winning, Royal Le Page realtor, Debbie VanWyck has been in the real estate business for sixteen years.  After meeting Debbie, you soon realize that she is passionate about the industry and prides herself on delivering superior customer service.

Recently I asked Debbie a few questions about the business to learn what was it that drives her passion about real estate.   Debbie’s response was so enthusiastic, it left me reeling for more!   Things she loves most about her job include the flexibility and to be able to be your own boss.  (who wouldn’t love to set their own hours and be their own boss?)  But it was Debbie’s last answer that really sums up who Debbie is.  It’s all about her buyers.

I asked Debbie if she had a real success story that comes to mind.    She wouldn’t get into details due to confidentiality, but she said that there was a recent transaction that contained the recipe of positive thinking, overcoming obstacles; a love story and a

happy, new beginning.  How inspirational is that!

Since life should always include looking at the lighter side of life, I asked Debbie – what was your funniest memory?  See the caption to the left!  How funny!

Debbie was quick to comment that she loves her company Royal LePage RCR Realty.  She says it’s a company that is always giving back to the community, which coincides with her values.   Debbie shared, ” I have always been a volunteer in one capacity or another.  When I was deciding whether to join Royal LePage, their contributions to Family Transition Place, among others, was a deciding factor.”  Debbie also admires the company’s strive for excellence and professionalism in the field; and that “it feels like a family”…everyone helps each other.”

Debbie, a long time resident of the community certainly sells the Dufferin area.  She says, ” it’s a small town with a lot of big city amenities.  We have first class restaurants; Theatre Orangeville is great; and we are less than an hour to downtown Toronto if you really want to be in the big city.  Who wouldn’t want to live here?” – Debbie, I completely agree, Orangeville feels like home to me too!
