Love of family.

The biggest compliment is repeat clients.  It means that you connected.  Randi and I have been connected for awhile.  Originally our paths crossed in Thunder Bay and now both of us are in the GTA (if you consider Orangeville GTA – that depends on who you ask).  It was so lovely to see her beautiful children again.  They have all grown so much since the last time I saw them and I was delighted and honoured to update her family album.

Take a look at what love looks like.  <3.

I’m crying! Seriously!!! Miss you guys-

Honouring your life moments.. Meet my friend, Kelley Potter.

Kelley, a friend that I met through another facet of my life is a gift to all that meet her.  First and foremost, her happy contagious spirit illuminates the room.  She’s a friend, sister, mother, believer in women’s empowerment and contributes so much to her community in countless volunteerism and random acts of kindness.  She’s an excellent public speaker and has followed her heart to pursue a career to become a Certified Life Cycle Celebrant.

Celebrants are schooled in the art of ritual, ceremony, world traditions, faith traditions, mythology, ceremonial writing and ceremonial speaking.

Kelley can help you celebrate or commemorate virtually every life event with a focus on customizing your ceremony to reflect the needs, beliefs and values of the couple or family.  She specializes in weddings and funerals but is open to other ceremonies such as  Adoption, Survivor, Illness, Healing & Transition,  Memorials, Celebration of Life, Dwelling, Animal Tributes,  Business Launches, and events marking milestones for communities, civic occasions and charities.

She will be launching her website in the next 8 weeks.  I was honoured to capture some photographs that will be used in her marketing materials. These photos are a perfect reflection of Kelley’s professional, yet charismatic personality.  If you have a question about an upcoming event and would like Kelley to officiate, you can contact her via email.

Gorgeous pictures!

Embrace Photography graces the back cover of Susan’s new book!

It’s always a pleasure, and I mean REALLY FUN working with author and comedian Susan Stewart.  The only drawback photographing someone like Susan, is that instead of trying to make her smile, she had me laughing so many times I had to try really hard to concentrate!
Susan had a specific vision of what her headshot needed to look like in order to match the front cover of her new book.  I am delighted to say that she has sent me the cover of her new book to be released next month.  I am so thrilled to be credited for my work on the book jacket.  I love it!  Thank you Susan. Lenses-cover-copy

Off Broadway Boutique Fall Fashion

Thank you to Anita for modelling these gorgeous outfits that are in store now, from Off Broadway Boutique.  Hair and make up was done via Myth Make Up Artistry.   These types of photo shoots are my all time favourite.

Every woman should do a photo shoot ‘just because’.  Go through your closet, or treat yourself to a few new outfits and book a session with me!  Give some of these images for Christmas presents.. or just for yourself.  It’s so much fun to do – I promise!  Just ask Anita:)

Happy Headshot Session.

Repeat clients are the biggest form of flattery for me, however, also are the most pressure.  Like everyone in this world, I share the same insecurities of hoping I can live up to expectations:)  Judy wanted to ensure that these updated headshots reflected her joyful, bubbly personality and to make sure they were appropriate in representing her successful Lia Sophia business.
Well, I have heard back from Judy and she is happy!  Whew, I am so glad.    Take a look at her gallery and see if my style of photography is what you’ve been looking for.  I’d be happy to consult with you and ensure your authentic self shines through in your next headshot session!  You can reach me at info@embracephotography.ca
